Little Viking Fans

We were all decked out in our purple & gold to watch the Vikings play the Eagles in the playoffs on January 4th. Even though the Vikings couldn't pull out a win, we still had fun together.

Christmas Season

These 2 pictures of Hudson & Delaney are included in my Christmas 2008 slideshow. However, I had to make a seperate post with them because I believe they sum up our holiday season.

We had a really fun, great time...

...but in the end, we were really tired out!!!

Christmas 2008

We had such a wonderful and busy Christmas! We opened gifts with our immediate family on the 24th after having a good breakfast together. That afternoon, we went to church with our Lach side of the family. After church, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Lach's house for supper. After everyone ate, the grandkids opened their gifts. Christmas morning, we checked out Hudson & Delaney's gifts from Santa. Then, we packed up and drove to Powers Lake and spent the day with Grandma Diane & Kara. We had a fun day playing Wii, opening presents and had a nice supper. We stayed overnight and headed home on the 26th. That night, we had our adult Christmas with the Lach family. We ate a good meal, exchanged gifts and played games.

We hope you and your family felt as blessed this holiday season as we did. We especially are thankful for our health, our son and daughter, and all of our family members and friends. We feel lucky to be able to spend time with family near to us, and miss those we could only talk to on the telephone.

Christmas can be hectic and crazy, but seeing it through the eyes of our 2 children makes it more magical. I hope we will always be together for the holidays and continue to make memories as a family.

First Smiles

Delaney started smiling last week. These are the first smiles I was able to catch with the camera (12/16/08). She gave her first smiles to her Daddy when he was talking to her. She seems to have a sweet personality that matches that cute smile. We love her a ton!!

"I keen it, mama."

We have gotten a lot of snow recently. After a trip out in the cold, we tracked some snow in on the carpet. After telling Daddy and I about the mess, Hudson ran to get his toy vacuum to "keen it up". He is such a sweet and smart boy!! We love him soooo much!!

The Woodard Blanket

This baby blanket is special to my family. My children are the 5th and 6th babies to come home from the hospital with it. The others are my dad, me, my sister Kristin, and my sister Kara. One side of the blanket is blue and the other is pink. I feel lucky to have carried on this tradition twice and hope we will be blessed with more babies to bring home with this blanket in the future.

Christmas Pictures

We had a "photo shoot" in an attempt to get a great picture for a Christmas card. It was quite a rodeo at times. Hudson was much more interested in kissing on his sister than sitting and smiling. We ended up with some good pictures, some bad ones, and even some that one may consider a bit crazy.

This one of Hudson is just plain crazy....

Delaney was a bit overstimulated. After a while, she wouldn't even look at us.

Please wish us luck for next year. I doubt a 1 year old and almost 3 year old will be much more cooperative. Gotta love my kids!!!
